Can the Nachbike R3 be ridden on public roads? Does it comply with road traffic regulations? +

Its legality depends on local laws. It is classified as an e-bike in most US states, equipped with pedals, pedal assist, front & rear lights, brake lights and a horn. You may ride it on bike lanes and roads with a speed limit of 28mph (adjust R3 to City Mode) if you follow local rules such as wearing a helmet. - If your state requires vehicle registration, we can provide a manufacturer’s certificate. Many customers have successfully registered their bikes and obtained license plates at local DMV offices with this document.

What certifications does the Nachbike R3 hold? +

It has passed safety testing and obtained UL2271 & UL2849 certifications issued by SGS laboratory.

Is it hard to assemble the Nachbike R3? +

The bike is pre-assembled to 80% out of the box, and all necessary assembly tools are included. Follow our assembly video for easy setup, click here to watch.

Do you sell upgradeable accessories (like adjustable rear shocks)? +

We currently offer adjustable rear shocks for the R3 and R3 NEO. Feel free to reach out to us if you need other accessories. Returning customers are welcome to share your customization ideas with our team.

Can I ride the bike in the rain? Are they waterproof? +

Our e-bikes are water-resistant, so they can handle light rain and wet roads. However, they are not fully waterproof, so avoid riding in heavy rain or submerging any components.

How much is the shipping fee? +

Free shipping is available for all orders within the contiguous US (excluding Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico). Shipments to the EU, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are only available seasonally with extra shipping charges. Please contact us before placing your order for confirmation. A 2-year limited manufacturer warranty is only available for the original retail purchaser. The frame and stem are covered for 2 years; the motor, battery, controller and display are covered for 1 year; the throttle, lights and brakes come with a 6-month warranty. We offer a 30-day free return & exchange service for all e-bikes, scooters, parts and accessories sold by Nachbike.
